Let me include my own definition of "Passion" for the people who may find them self slightly confuse'd over the context of the word. When I say this word, I simply refer to the things that a person utterly devotes their life to, whether for pleasure and enjoyment, or success and profit. A passion is there for a person to enjoy the outcome, and that of which is usually a positive one, to state the obvious.

I have but two passions, and i take them both equally very seriously. After all, this is what I am about, what my character is sononimously referred to, and what I intend to continue living for. These ::Things:: are not only well-enjoyed hobbies, but have sentimental as well as personal meaning as to who I am.

The first just happens to be quite given from the beginning: Shakespearian Drama. Yes, I am a serious dramatic in my spare time, and I give the credit of that to two people: William Shakespeare and John McEnery, who, you could say, are closely related. Most of the acting and study I do is based on the Elizabeathan era, and the majority of it is written by Shakespeare. Such characters that I have known parts of from the mind of that man are Juliet, Ophelia, Mercutio, and the related. The words through these characters are so lovely and well-elaborated through the scenes they must partake in. I take much pride in being able to have the honor of knowing such strong roles, for they somehow stand for what I am as well as the characters, they themselves, are. One of my goals in life is to eventually move to England and join the Royal Shakespeare Company, a group of travelling actors that perform all of Shakespeare's best. That is one challenge in life I shall depend on, for this is one of those ::dreams:: I refer to in the beginning of the site.

Most acting I am interested in is British Theatrical work, so I'm quite enlightened on the diversities of American and British acting. This proves itself to be a problem as well, for American theater companies aren't very willing to put on a production that only the dedicated of all fans will come to see. We must thank God for MY willingness to prove the possibilities to directors. Most Americans rarely understand Shakespeare, let alone support him. His words are much too beautiful for such a diseased country and an ignorant population. So, we deal the best we can and spread word. After all, this is my passion and I would die for it, for if death brought itself upon to acting, half of my whole would be gone.

I've also studied and noted of some other minor roles at an outdoor theatre we have locally, called the Muni. Feel free to inquire about any experience I have had with my acting and character study, and I would be happy to share any wanted information.

One thing that should be known is how this affects my mentality and view of the World. In my opinion, the World is a stage and I am a character acting on it. I'm a very passionate person, and one will notice I tend to overelaborate and be a BIT mellowdramatic even in my daily life. Although some consider this a downfall, I take pride in the fact that I view life as no other does: with apathy. Ah, sweet apathy is the very angel that calls my name every morning to wake and meet the morning dew. APATHY has turned me into what I am, and I'm sure even after knowing 5 mintes or so of me, you could agree is quite the inspirational person.

My second passion is Music. Most taunt and tease me when they hear my two passions, claiming they are "far-fetched" and that I will "never make it." These are the very people I am here to prove wrong. You must understand how much I give up and offer for my music. (I would consider it just about double the time I work on acting.) When I was very young, I'm assuming 10 or so, I picked up the tuba. It's slightly ironic that a small feeble female would pick up such a boisterous and gigantic instrument, but alas, she did, and that started the chain of neverending links. I recieved lessons on the Tuba, and then moved onto the Oboe. My teachers considered me a musical prodigy, and in all modesty, I have no doubt this was true. I soon began to teach myself new instruments, such as the Flute, Saxophone, Bari-Sax, Clarinet, and Drumset, finding each easier as time went by. I began to tackle the frustration of the guitar, and with a dream of becoming an icon in the rock industry, I continued. Soon, I had mastered that and Bass guitar. In the end, which is the present time, I know 13 instruments, 11 of them which are self taught.

I take part in Honor Band statewide as an oboe soloist, first chair, and give casual guitar lessons to all who request them. I also am the lead guitarist and vocalist in a female rock band called Slander. I put forth about 3 hours a day to my music, and those are the 3 happiest hours of my day. Music seems to cleanse the soul of the everyday dust of life, and I believe everyone should partake in some musical experience in their lifetime. It does benefit in the end, and I say that from 100% personal experience.

And those are my passions.
